AVON GIRLS LACROSSE OVERVIEW
Avon Lacrosse is proud to offer lacrosse opportunities for girls from the 3rd-8th grades. Our program is considered to be a local travel program that gives our teams the opportunity to play lacrosse against other teams in the Clevelend Area.
The middle school team is for 7th and 8th grade girls.
The youth team is for 5th and 6th graders and may be set up as a team or squads depending on registration numbers.
The bantam team is for 3rd and 4th graders and is designed to be an introduction into lacrosse and will include instruction and small sided games throughout the season.
The season begins in mid February and runs through May. Middle school teams will practice around 3x times per week while the youth teams will practice around 2x per week on average. We recognize other commitments that girls might have during the season and respect the time needed for these other commitments as well.
